Anyone Else Guided Here And Other Places Like This Inexplicably? by 1sc on April 22nd, 2017, 11:29 pm
I have been receiving what seems like an inner "guiding hand" to very specific scientific subjects. Not hearing voices or anything lol. Quantum physics, time travel, nanotubes, nanobots, chemtrails, and other subjects. Before 2 years ago I did not know some of these things existed, and I certainly didn't know how they worked. And now I somehow guide myself through some sort of pre existing science and biology curriculum of which I am my own nutty professor. I am in no way complaining. Just hopelessly interested in everything I read about with an insatiable thirst for knowledge??? Has anyone else experienced a sudden heightened scientific enlightenment with no explanation??

Of Castles, Solars and Green Rooms

Not long ago I found myself spending a few days of holiday down near Southend on the Essex coast. One afternoon we climbed up the hill to visit the ruins of Hadleigh castle which stands overlooking the railway line and the Medway marshes of the Thames estuary. Built in 1215 by Hubert de Burgh in the reign of King Henry III, the castle was substantially rebuilt a century later by Edward III as part of the Medway defences against the French during the Hundred Years War. Edward III in fact made it his principal residence outside of London for much of his reign.

Little remains of Hadleigh castle today. It was built on an unstable outcrop of London clay and developed an unfortunate habit of collapsing at unexpected moments. Large quantities of the fallen stonework were sold and carted off in the Tudor period, you can still see the tiled hearth where the wreckers melted down the valuable window leads. John Constable painted an atmospheric...

Our Existence, A Vivid Dream Masquerading As Physical Reality? by goodytree on December 23rd, 2016, 9:18 pm
Up until now, the Inflation Theory has been the most acceptable explanation for the existence of our universe. However, recently there appears to be some meaningful negative comments associated with this theory. Physicist Paul Steinhardt, one of the three main investigators of the theory claims that the Fine Tune Environment has come at such a high price, that it now lies beyond the natural simplicity that nature employs within its building blocks.
Physicists Lawrence Krauss, and Adam Riess join Neil Turok in rejecting inflation theory, and in its place, look for answers which comply with the nature’s simplicity. It seemed a bit extreme to select our universe, from a supposed infinity of multiverses, to be the one and only candidate that meets this Fine Tuned requirement. Also, the notion that the inflation period lasted approximately 10-33 seconds, expanding at a rate millions of times faster than the speed of light, lies beyond what many consider as rational. To claim that this h...
