Need help for fun publication title

Postby dinsq on August 17th, 2015, 1:54 pm

Hi,

I'm writing a comedy. A character is preparing her thesis. How would you say "four people produce more laundry during a day than one person" in a most complicated, scientific way?

Thanks for your contributions in advance :)

Of course I am. I need to become a subject matter expert on science! Just trying to be overly nice, that's all. ;)

Good and welcome.

I was trying to think of something scientifically clever, but all I get is Sheldon's voice in my head saying "Leonard, do the math. It is so simply even Penny could figure it out, if we can wait 'til laundry night."

I'm sure you will get other sharing their witticisms.

I doubt that is true as a general rule, because of the "per unit area".

On a per unit of underwear basis I would imagine that the soiling by 50 people would be roughly the same as the soiling by 4 or by 1 person.

The number of garments being soiled increases geometrically with the number of wearers ... assuming of course that all relevant wearers are in fact wearing the same number of garments for the same fixed duration.

integumental garment is such an elegant way to refer to underwear.

originating such a refined euphemism deserves serious respect.

Good, so stick around. I'd love to hear more about the comedy. If you care to share the reason for dinsq. Don't get those two started on you being a robot.

Oh, and unsolicited praise of dubious merit will win you many friends among the psychologically squishy. Psychophancy is an alarminly useful skill to posess. ;)

LOL

Canady is a contender. Wow. His is completely opaque to me, even when I know in advance what it's supposed to mean.

I was thinking funny comedy in English. Wasn't really thinking of the Shakespearean in Latin twist.

Somatic integumental textile lavation volumes show positive user census correlation where temporally fixed usage/coverage regimes are in effect.

LOL, just keeps getting better!

You guys do know you're funny, right?

I mean I work with professional comedians all day and they can be very serious characters off-stage. It's been a while since I've had this good a laugh :)

Most humorists prefer to think of themselves as 'enlightened realists' with a gift for gab.

You think I'm funny? You mean that I amuse you, like a clown?

(Name the motion picture that's from and I will be your friend for a solid 15 - 20 minutes....)

Analyze This ?

Even if it's not it should be, cuz it sounds like De Niro.

Joe Pesci, giving Ray Liotta a hard time, in "Goodfellas."
