"I'm done!"

From the same movie :

"I drink your milkshake. I drink it up!"

Get it now?

Ohhhh. Yes, There Will be Blood. And now I do remember that last line, after the bowling pin unpleasantness.

Why does my targeted ad show Jessica Rabbit as a "Ukrainian girl" I'd like to meet?

Here's one: "Bare Ruined Choirs" - title of a play within a movie. It's writer wants to understand the common man.

Bonus point for what source, in literature, that title comes from. Dandelion would probably know it.

Here is a line from another movie I love:

"There... is... no... sanctuary."
"There... is... no... sanctuary."
"There... is... no... sanctuary."

This (repeated) line is from "Logan's Run".

I think you are correct, alhough unaccountably I always associate it with the young punk Wilmar(?).

Badger's is Rocky Horror PS, the line sung by Tim Curry.

How about this timely line,

"You know, Mr. Bernstein, if I hadn't been very rich, I might have been a really great man."

It sounds familiar. This is probably wrong, but Orson Wells as Charles Foster Kane in Citizen Kane.

Edit: Should that be Welles? Who knows? Who cares? Though we should be respectful of persons names, as a way of being respectful of them.

This is more than probably right.

Very nice! Barton Fink, Shakespeare sonnet 73?

Very good. I'm going to stop you right there because the alarm has sounded.

"Hurt this boy and you're gonna be Baird bums, the lot of you."

This has got to be the greatest movie speech ever.

"Mr Trask". I could almost swear he pronounces it as "Mr Trash" but not quite close enough for a lawsuit.

"I'm sorry too, Mr Badger. Because you know what I'm going to do, inasmuch as I can't punish Mr Havermayer, Mr Potter, or Mr Jamieson. And I won't punish Mr Braininavat. He's the only party to this incident who is still worthy of calling himself a Baird man. I'm going to recommend to the disciplinary committee that you be expelled. You are a cover-up artist and you are a Husserl fan."

Hmm, they never called me "Mister" when I was at school.

"You hold this boy's future in your hands, Committee. It's a valuable future (except poetry and intractable maths problems). Believe me, don't destroy it. Protect it. Embrace it. He's gonna make you proud one day, I promise you."

And, boy, have I made progress.

Where can a man go at times like these?

Just fizzle out, I suppose.

Wasn't much of a fire to begin with.

I'd stay alive, but you might think less of me.

And the best picture Oscar goes to...

Bonnie and Clyde!

Wow....feel a little sorry for Warren Beatty. Tonight might be one of the most surreal moments in Academy history.

My favorite line (earlier) was Kimmel's "Just because a screenplay's adapted, doesn't mean we don't love it."
