Astrophysics career questions

I have not finished schooling but I intend to become a astrophysicist. Are there any other seasoned Astrophysicists willing to give me tips and advice on how to be an astrophysicist. I have always loved space and will continue to thx for the future help!

Look for and apply to internships at observatories. I did once for a summer internship but didn't get it.
