Νίψον ἀνομήματα, μὴ μόναν ὄψιν - (Wash the sins, not only the face).
Attributed to St. Gregory of Nazianzus. This palindromic Greek inscription was originally found on a baptismal font outside Hagia Sophia in Constantinople. The palindrome only works in the Greek alphabet because of the ψ Psi character.
