Mobile functionality has been added to the forums for easy viewing on smartphones and tablets. Chat applet will be accessible through mobile site soon.

If you click on the magnifying glass icon at the top right side, you will get all sorts of "what's new" links. Works best when you're logged in.

Works well on iphone too, took me a few minutes to find the "your posts", but just like mentioned above, its in the magnifying glass menu.

This saves a lot of zooming in and out, cool!

Thanks for the feedback!

Updates:
1-Changed magnifying glass to "+" sign to indicate more options
2-Added a "what's new" link that works exactly as the one on the full site (per request from several users), though this might be changed im the future
3-Added chat functionality to the mobile site

I'll have to echo this. Looks great though! :)

Oh but it's still there! Why do you guys refuse to believe me? Just click on the drop menu in the top right side where the little blue cross is.

I changed my response after testing my phone again! haha Yesterday or the day before, I had tried using the magnifying glass but it didn't work for me.

See? It's right there, now also with chat room access. And when you're logged in you get a couple more options.

Slight redecoration of the mobile site to improve viewing and add more of the full site options. Added link to give option for switching back and forth between mobile and full site.

Great! I really enjoy SPCFing on my iphone now. It used to be such a pain zooming in/out all the time and fighting with the screen to submit posts.

I used to have difficulty with accessing additional pages in the threads using my iphone. The problem is now resolved! Awesome job and thank you for investing the time to improve the site and its features! :)

Very nice!

One question, is there a maximum size? I noticed that one long topic did not have the latest postings in the mobile version and there does not seem to be a page two button.

When you access the topic, there should be a little button at the top with the # sign. When you click it, you'll get a dropdown with the pagination.

Very happy with the mobile version! I rarely use a PC at the moment and the normal version's editor was pain on android. What would make the mobile site even better is if it included the "users viewing this forum" bit, as well as being able to scroll previous posts on a thread while writing a responce. That's just a few minor things to consider - it's a world of improvement either way :)

Dear Whut,

These are good suggestions. However, the mobile site was optimized and designed in such a way as to minimize the number and frequency of SQL queries per page. You can still switch to the full site at any time, however, should you require additional information about something.

We are very happy to know that this has improved everybody's mobile experience. Thanks all for the feedback.

Nice! I'm a bit of a smartphone junkie myself.
