loud Noises & Brain Damage

Postby vivian maxine on August 24th, 2016, 10:45 am

Excessively loud noises - especially constant loud noises - cause hearing loss. That we know. It also causes brain damage in the speech area and, I think in the area of balance control (motor nerve damage?). Beyond that, do constant loud noises cause damage to other areas of the brain? I mean other areas that we might not expect to be affected? How about in an area that enhances learning skills? Anything else?
