An RNA translation is filmed

Maybe there is a connection between this and another discussion going on here; maybe not. I am not a biologist. Others can decide. but it surely sounds like it might connect.

Colorado State University biochemists have made a live-cell movie of RNA translation = the fundamental cellular process by which a ribosome decodes a protein. (Science Daily)

Cool stuff. By the way, the author should'nt have used the word "decode" there, as it could be misleading. I would go with "encode", if they're hot on the term "code". Decoding the protein is kind of the inverse of what's happening in that step. The ribosome decodes the mRNA and encodes the information into the protein.
