Drunk Claims To Be Time Traveller from 2048

Police say a central Wyoming man they arrested for public intoxication claimed he had travelled back in time to warn of an alien invasion.

Casper police say the man they encountered at 10.30pm on Monday claimed he was from the year 2048.

KTWO-AM in Casper reports that Bryant Thomas told police that he wanted to warn the people of Casper that aliens will arrive next year, and that they should leave as soon as possible. He asked to speak to the president of the town, about 170 miles (270 kilometres) northwest of Cheyenne.

The man told police he was only able to time travel because aliens filled his body with alcohol. He noted that he was supposed to be transported to the year 2018, not this year.

When on an airplane the other day I was thinking back to "I wonder what ever happened to crop circles?" Did they just go out of fashion or did too many security cameras ruin that fun? Or did our increased affordability of private security systems scare away the real aliens?

Reminds me of this:

A spaceship lands in the woods. A teenage couple, Johnny Carter (Steven Terrell) and Joan Haydon (Gloria Castillo), driving down lover's lane without headlights, accidentally run down one of the aliens. Joe Gruen (Frank Gorshin) a drunken opportunist, comes across the alien's corpse. He plans to keep the body in his fridge, but the aliens arrive and kill him by injecting alcohol into his veins via their hypodermic fingernails. Having reported their close encounter to the police, Johnny and Joan return with the Sheriff, only to find Joe's body in place of the alien. The police plan to charge them with manslaughter. Meanwhile the dead alien's hand detaches itself, grows an eye, and runs amok. The military, following a UFO report, are soon involved. They surround the alien's spaceship, but in the end it is the teenagers who defeat the aliens when they discover that they cannot stand the glare from their car headlights.

Watched this years ago. Pretty entertaining stuff believe it or not! haha!

He was right about one thing, filling your body with alcohol does allow your mind to time travel. Only forward, though.
