Protesters try to stop telescope construction on Mauna Kea

Given that there are already 13 telescopes on the dormant volcano, one has to wonder if that ship has sailed.

One would hope that the whole island is not sacred.

If it is, then "the ship has sailed", as TheVat has commented.

If only parts of it are sacred, then one would hope that a spot could be chosen that is not sacred.

It would be interesting to read the Court's Judgment.
