The American Nazi Party has registered a lobbyist in Congres

Postby Sisyphus on April 17th, 2012, 9:56 pm

John Bowles claims to be a representative of the American Nazi Party. On April 10, 2012 he registered as a lobbyist with Congress on behalf of his party. According to his Lobbying Registration Form, specific lobbying issues are political rights and ballot laws.

I'm having a hard time seeing the humor described by the author in the stupidity of the American Nazi party. If you go back to the thirties the ideas they represent were perhaps more prevalent in the population but I'm not comforted by the fact there are only a couple thousand who openly support the agenda. It the ones that hide there support that scare me.

Very foolhardy to forget the silent supporters indeed. I don't get the impression that in the early stages of the Nazi movement they got so many followers by leading with the argument of anglo saxon/white supremacy. It's a slow process to boil a frog.

Aye, and it's an insult to make the frog supply his own pot. Our constitution gurantees free political speech, but makes an exception for some sedition and treason. I see no reason not to hold Nazis as treasonous terrorists. They mean to destroy the liberal democracy that protects them.
