Friend or Foe List

Postby Holly on February 21st, 2019, 10:17 pm

I would like to propose a question to users:

Please describe your perimeters for your friend or foe list.

For example, there is no way anyone would understand how I choose my favorite animal because it’s weird. But that’s besides the point. My point is that I would need to explain my perimeters in order for it to make sense.

Then I would like to know how does one become a foe based upon agreed perimeters?

I don't make lists.
I like some people more than others; have more in common with and a better understanding of some people than others. I've had disagreements and even some cross words with a few people; I annoy some people and I'm pretty sure they don't care for me at all.
But I still prefer to judge each post on its current merits, not by whose name is on it.

(PS My favourite animal today is an ungainly, uncuddly though rather handsome brown tabby named D2. He's behaved very well lately.)

I just use it very rarely when someone either keeps talking nonsense or if they’re unnecessarily abusive. Even then I remove the “foe” after a month or two.

Haven’t used it here for a long time. On other forums I have had to use more often.

Funny part is I think foe gave me a different idea, sort of like sword fighting your foe. OR a debate where you take a side for fun. Instead it means IGNORE!

Darn it all I was hoping for some virtual sword fighting.

So, go to the lounge, pick a subject and challenge someone to a debate.
