Rudy Giuliani - Star of Screen & Radio

Postby toucana on October 21st, 2020, 5:04 pm

President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani has apparently manged to snag himself a cameo role in a new film being released on Friday on Amazon Prime Video.

https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/films/review-borat-is-back-and-this-time-he-fits-right-in-sacha-baron-cohen-america-accent-journalist-mike-pence-b1207479.html

Unfortunately for Rudy, it’s a sequel to Sacha Baron Cohen’s notorious parody film Borat (2007).

This new one is snappily entitled “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan”

Without giving away too many spoilers, the stunts this time include:
a trip, with Borat dressed as Trump, to the Conservative Political Action Conference, where he shouts at Pence from the crowd before being rapidly removed; and a “March for Our Rights Rally” in which he leads a crowd of Trump supporters in a sing-along not unlike Borat's famed “Throw the Jew Down the Well” ditty. This time, mentions of Barack Obama and Anthony Fauci are followed by choruses of “Inject him with the Wuhan flu” and “Gas him up like the Germans.”

The piece-de-resistance however according to the Guardian newspaper is a scene where
the former New York mayor and current personal attorney to Donald Trump is seen reaching into his trousers and apparently touching his genitals while reclining on a bed in the presence of the actor playing Borat’s daughter, who is posing as a TV journalist.

Following an obsequious interview for a fake conservative news programme, the pair retreat at her suggestion for a drink to the bedroom of a hotel suite, which is rigged with concealed cameras.

After she removes his microphone, Giuliani, 76, can be seen lying back on the bed, fiddling with his untucked shirt and reaching into his trousers. They are then interrupted by Borat who runs in and says: “She’s 15. She’s too old for you.”

Representatives for Giuliani have not replied to the Guardian’s requests for comment.

I eagerly await the proper and righteous outrage from the right-wing crowd that has been heaping condemnation onto Jeffrey Toobin, CNN journalist, for touching himself in view of a webcam during a Zoom session (apparently while he thought he was off-camera).

I expect a longish wait.

The Rudy Giuliani story got even funnier today when it emerged that Rudy has been texting with someone he thought was Ivanka Trump, but was actually an imposter called Nick Roberts who is vice-president of the College Democrats of Indiana. He had somehow gotten hold of Rudy’s number and decided to prank him.

David Freedlander (a contributing editor of Politico) is one journalist currently following this on Twitter.

In one message after today’s earlier breaking news, Rudy was asked by ‘Ivanka’:
“Is the rumor that is circulating true?”

In response Rudy texted

“There is some truth to the story, I am waiting to speak with your father about it.”

The Borat video is a complete fabrication. I was tucking in my shirt after taking off the recording equipment.

At no time before, during, or after the interview was I ever inappropriate. If Sacha Baron Cohen implies otherwise he is a stone-cold liar.

"Tucking in my shirt" is probably now destined to enter the lexicon of political prevarication and double entendre - along with "tired and emotional", "economical with the truth", and "I didn't inhale".

I don't get the joke. Hard to imagine a journalist is 15. Especially when the actor is really 24. At his age, good on him!

Haha, gotta admit that's pretty funny..

"reach in without his subpenis (subpoena)"

Although absolutely hilarious, I see this as another timely smokescreen for the elections. Ben Dreyfuss has seen the actual clip and tweeted,

"He does not have his hand down his pants in a sexual way. He is tucking his shirt back in after she untucks it, removing his mic"
https://www.news.com.au/finance/work/le ... 96fd2edae9

Ironically, Rudy is the lawyer investigating Hunter Bidens laptop. If I were opposed to Trump, I would think it best to keep quiet, but this incident just brings attention to the lawyer and his accusations of pedophilia content.

I watched the latest Borat film yesterday, which is not exactly difficult as it was released on Amazon Prime at midnight on Friday. Anyone with an Amazon Prime account can watch it right now at no extra cost, and won’t need to rely on third-hand opinions about what what it does or doesn’t show.

The scene in question has an entire preamble in which Rudy Giuliani is suckered into believing that he is taking part in a film interview for yet another sycophantic conservative news site conducted by the obligatory obsequious dumb blonde whose journalistic skill-set extends to fluttering her eyelids at him, and apologising for her total incompetence.

Rudy Giuliani divides his time between repeating endless toxic drivel about China having “created the Corona virus and deliberately released it in USA” and ogling the girl and pawing her at every opportunity. He follows her into the adjoining hotel bedroom like a greyhound out of the traps when she suggests having a drink, and can hardly wait to get his arm around her as she removes his radio mic and eases him down onto the bed.

Whether you reckon he has his hands down his pants in a ‘sexual way” is more than somewhat beside the point at this stage - especially when Borat bursts in moments later dressed in a bikini and offers him the use of his "butthole pussy” instead.

I’m not sure why anyone would attach any particular significance to “Hunter Biden’s laptop” given that particular fairytale is Russian ‘deza’ (dezinformatsiya - disinformation) concocted and disseminated by Rudy Giuliani and some of his future Ukrainean cellmates. The FBI have said so, and to all intents and purposes, so has Rudy Giuliani.

One last point. Do you know who orginally commissioned this Borat sequel ?
Rupert Murdoch announced in early February 2007 that Baron Cohen had signed on to do another Borat film with 20th Century Fox, distributor of the first film] Baron Cohen later claimed that Borat was to be discontinued, as he was now too well known to avoid detection as he did in the film and on Da Ali G Show. A spokesman for Fox later stated that it was too early to begin planning such a film, although they were open to the idea. (Reuters 9 February 2007).

Interesting. A quick Google debunk search, shows the FBI debunk the idea that it's Russians at fault.

To save myself some time though, I'll just take your word for it.

It doesn't really matter. The US has plenty of domestic partisans, shouting disinformation through various media bullhorns. Here's a fact that may mean something to you: most reputable newspapers, with the exception of a New York tabloid scandal rag, have not pursued the story of some "unknown guy" who dropped off some broken laptops with contents that no one has been able to verify or see the contents of.

But here's the really amusing part: even if all these hearsay claims about cozying with Chinese business are true, Biden was not in political office at the time, and there is no law that forbids private citizens from pursuing investments in foreign countries or advising a family member on such ventures. Moreover, all these sinister insinuations come from an administration whose leader has refused to disclose his tax returns, the only modern president to do so. Biden, the target, has released all his tax returns for the last 22 years.

Here is one summary of the Hunter Biden laptop tale:
In October 2020, the FBI reportedly launched an investigation into whether a story published in the tabloid journal New York Post on October 14 might be part of a Russian disinformation effort targeting Biden.[101] The story, titled "Biden Secret Emails", displayed an email supposedly showing that Hunter Biden had arranged for his father, then-vice-president Joe Biden, to meet with a top advisor to Burisma. The Biden campaign said that no such meeting ever happened.[102] The Post's source for the data was Giuliani, who says he got it from the hard drive of a laptop that was allegedly dropped off at a Delaware repair shop in April 2019 and never picked up. The shop owner told reporters that he thought the person who dropped it off was Hunter Biden but wasn't sure. He said he eventually gave the laptop to the FBI, keeping a copy of the hard drive for himself that he later gave to Giuliani.[103] A year and a half earlier, in early 2019, White House officials had been warned that the Russians were planning to leak forged emails in the weeks before the election, and that Giuliani could be the conduit for such a leak.[80]

Most of the New York Post story was written by a staff reporter who did not allow his name to be used on it because he doubted the story's credibility. According to an investigation by The New York Times, editors at the New York Post "pressed staff members to add their bylines to the story", and at least one refused, in addition to the original author. Of the two writers eventually credited on the article, the second did not know her name was attached to it until after it was published.[104] Giuliani was later quoted as saying he had given the hard drive to the New York Post because "either nobody else would take it, or if they took it, they would spend all the time they could to try to contradict it before they put it out."[104] A few days after the story was published, more than 50 former senior intelligence officials signed a letter saying that while they had no evidence, the story "has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_interference_in_the_2020_United_States_elections

And here is part of a Guardian newpaper report from 17 September 2020 about the Congressional testimony given by FBI director Christopher Wray to the House committee on homeland security:
Wray repeatedly addressed election meddling in his testimony to the House committee, saying the bureau is committed to blocking such interference efforts in this year’s elections.

He specifically said the bureau has witnessed “very active efforts by the Russians to influence our election in 2020”.

Russian agents, Wray said, were mainly trying to affect the election through “malign foreign influence”, such as social media, state media and the use of proxies.

He noted the Russians’ efforts were meant “primarily to denigrate vice-president Biden and what the Russians see as kind of an anti-Russian establishment”.

Not only are reputable media outlets not reporting the issue, but social media are outright banning people who share the laptop article. The most notable being Trumps press exec Kayleigh Mcenany who got banned from twitter for sharing.

Joe's sons scandel, now Trumps lawyer..

From the outside looking in, I can afford to be ignorant, get out the popcorn and enjoy the circus. If it were my country, I'd be mighty upset. God Bless America. Please.

As Chris Wallace of Fox News recently pointed out, the FBI had been in possession of the so-say ‘Hunter Biden hard drive’ since December 2019 (ten months ago) without finding anything on it of relevance to the Biden family.

https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2020/10/25/1989539/-GOP-Chair-Forced-to-Admit-to-Fox-News-There-s-NO-EVIDENCE-of-Wrongdoing-By-Biden

The FBI did however wind up adding this particular item to a growing pile of evidence of interference in the 2020 USA presidential election cycle by Russian intelligence agents and their proxies, as referred to by FBI director Christopher Wray in his testimony to the house homeland security committee on 17 September 2020.

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/sep/17/misinformation-us-elections-2020-russia

Two of the proxies alluded to were close associates of Rudy Giuliani named Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman who were both arrested by the FBI, almost exactly a year ago, while abruptly trying to leave the USA on one-way tickets to Vienna after being served with subpoenas to appear before US congressional investigators.

http://www.sciencechatforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=145&t=35602

Parnas and Fruman, along with their best friend Rudy Giuliani, were in turn working with a top level Ukrainian mobster and oligarch, and friend of Vladimir Putin called Dimitryo Firtash, who was being held in Vienna under house arrest, awaiting extradition to the USA on racketeering and bribery charges.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dmytro_Firtash

Do you still wonder why Twitter and every other reputable news media source in the world has this one red-flagged ?

Right on cue comes breaking news that one of Rudy Giuliani’s associates has now decided to plead guilty to a number of indictments, and is due to appear in court tomorrow at 10.30 a.m ET.

https://lawandcrime.com/high-profile/lev-parnass-business-associate-david-correia-fraud-guarantee-co-founder-with-giuliani-ties-will-plead-guilty/

The man is David Correia, a South Florida entrepreneur who partnered with Lev Parnas on both a marijuana business, and was also implicated in the company Fraud Guarantee run by Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman.

Correia has been charged with the two key conspiracies that prosecutors hope to prove at trial next year: illegally funneling foreign money into U.S. elections and duping people to invest in Fraud Guarantee, a company that reportedly paid $500,000 to Giuliani.

At least seven alleged victims invested in Fraud Guarantee, putting in hundreds of thousands of dollars for a total of more than $2 million.

Correia is charged with six of seven counts of the indictment, including falsifying records, soliciting campaign contributions from a foreign national, conspiring to defraud the United States, and attempting to commit wire fraud.

Prosecutors claim Correia was involved in a $325,000 contribution that Parnas and Fruman made to the pro-Trump super PAC America First Action via their company Global Energy Producers.

The indictment also places Correia inside an alleged conspiracy to funnel money from the still-unidentified “Foreign National-1,” with whom prosecutors claim Parnas, Fruman, Correia and a fourth man Andrey Kukushkin planned to open a marijuana business in the fall of 2018.

It is unclear exactly which charges Correia has now decided to plead guilty to.

Umm - You remember that computer repair-man, the one in Wilmington who claimed to have discovered Hunter Biden's laptop, and then passed it on to Rudy Giuliani?

Well it seems like he has done a runner. Shut down his repair shop and vanished out of town in a big hurry. Perhaps he didn't want to hang around for the transition to a Biden presidency. I wonder why ?
