Capitol police have issued a photograph of a rioter seen carrying a fire extinguisher near the Capitol on Wednesday 6 January.

Chester Fire Department (CFD) confirmed that ex-firefighter Robert Sanford 55 of Upper Chichester Pennsylvania, who is now in custody, was a former employee who retired in February 2020.

Peculiar on a couple points. One, someone whose career was protecting the public from harm, attacking a police officer. Two, a firefighter chooses a fire extinguisher as a weapon, a dangerous one when directed at a human head. I withdraw "peculiar," and suggest "depraved."

Looking forward to four years where the concept of "moral leadership" might be resuscitated.

PS. They definitely need to keep a very sharp eye on T's ghastly relatives as well. I can see D Jnr trying to carry it all on like nothing happened. For his own benefit, naturally. The country's got bugger all to do with it. They're all into self-glory, that crowd.

Trump still isn’t done yet it seems. This picture of My Pillow CEO Michael Lindell was taken earlier today as he attended a meeting with Trump. Lindell who is a die-hard supporter and unofficial adviser of the president was seen clutching a sheaf of typewritten notes along with a cup of coffee and his phone as he entered the West Wing.

The cameras of watching journalists had no difficulty in capturing the text of the notes in Lindell’s hand, and they make interesting reading:
