Propionibacterium acnes - a "good bacterium" on the human skin which secretes a protein which protects us from reactive oxygen species thought to contribute to several skin diseases, including skin cancer. The protein has an equally strong effect on dangerous oxygen species as known antioxidents such as vitamin C and vitamin D."
