Maybe not exactly political humor but I had a good laugh so I stopped to get this picture today on my drive home. It had been raining hard for days.

The picture needs a good caption. <ahem BiV>

The only swamp Trump ever drained was a wetland he wiped out to build a golf course.

Not a caption, just a comment.

The ironic thing is that swamps aka wetlands inherently aren't bad. They flourish with life, are carbon sinks, migratory stops for birds that fertilize crops, and water filtration. They also give people precious resources like oil & coal given millennia. As with everything, one can find some negatives, especially from a human perspective that isn't biologically adapted to navigating swamps and are susceptible to alligators or diseases from mosquitoes.

In fact, many communities are finding they have to re-establish swamps aka wetlands for the health of their community and environment.

But just trying having that conversation with someone who posted that sign. Laughing.
