I need new glasses - the edit function comes and goes and typos matter more in a haiku. Apols and here they are again without error

Gone in blink of eye
none but a holy star shines
Everlasting light

Everlasting light
Bright hope from the dawn of time
in a silent night

In a silent night
Something stirred; a wordless word
That caused dark and light

'That' caused dark and light
That wordless word; caused what and
When, where, how and why?

When, where, how and why;
Who and what is asking who?
The koan maker.

The koan maker
Sound of a hand clapping? Ha!
Questions leave footprints

Questions leave footprints
where straw limbs cannot be seen
stalks divide and drift

Stalks divide and drift
A scarecrow stands amidst the
Billowing chaff clouds

Billowing chaff clouds
Where the mousies build housies
Crash! The cruel plough-blade

Crash! The cruel plough-blade
The best laid schemes of mice and
men go oft awry

To a mouse - Robert Burns

English Translation
Wee, sleekest, cowering timorous beast(ie),
Oh what panic’s in your breast(ie)
Thou needn’t start away so hasty,
With bickering rattle
I would be loath to run and chase thee
With murdering paddle

I'm truly sorry Man's dominion
has broken Nature's social union,
and justifies that ill opinion,
Which makes thee startle,
at me, thy poor, earth-born companion,
And fellow mortal

I doubt not sometimes, but thou may thieve;
What of it? Poor beastie, you must live
A random corn-ear in a sheave
It’s a small request:
I'll get a blessing with what’s left;
And never miss it

Your tiny housie, too, in ruin!
Its feeble walls the winds are strewing!
And nothing, now, to build a new one
Or grasses green!
And bleak December's winds, ensuing,
blow sharp and keen

Thou saw the fields laid bare and waste
And weary winter coming fast,
and cosy here, beneath the blast,
thou thought to dwell,
till crash! the cruel plough-blade passed
right through thy cell

That tiny heap of leaves and stubble
had cost thee many a weary nibble!
Now thou’s turned out, for thy trouble,
Not house or hold,
to endure the winter's sleety dribble
and hoarfrosts cold

But Mousie, thou are not alone
in proving foresight may be vain:
the best-laid schemes of Mice and Men
go oft awry,
and leave us nought but grief and pain,
For promised joy

Still, thou are blessed compared with me
The present only, touches thee:
But, Och! I backward cast my eye
On prospects drear(y)
And forward, though I cannot see,
I guess and fear!

On a Silent Night
Hear the crackling Frost
And a Full Moon Listens.

On a silent night
My footfalls are like thunderclaps
But the moon and the stars
Pay them no mind

A full moon listens
to the melody of stars,
shining golden light.
