Are there no original thoughts out there any more. Just variations. Even Guth's inflation scenario was something a Russian was thinking about. Good ideas latch on when the time is right, like my idea of an idea sphere.

The Heinlein quote has long been one of my favorites....and I come from a place where that was pretty much the ethos - farmers and ranchers are generalists. I've done most of the items on his list except for the dying gallantly. We'll see how that goes.
