How do you think?

What I mean do you think in words as I am doing while I key in this topic?

Or

Do you think in pictures?

Do you think in colors or even smell, taste?

How then do you think?

I think it varies from person to person. A visual thinker would think more in pictures, an auditory thinker would think in internal sounds (the voice inside your head) and so on. Me personally, I think more in sounds. But I also think that we use a combination of all our senses to come up with more accurate thoughts.

Lets say you wanted to think about your lunch yesterday. I would think of the word first, then picture what it looked like and lastly think about what it tasted and smelt like, giving myself a fully developed idea of what I had for lunch.

Thoughts are linked to how you percieved what you are thinking about.
