Poincare recurrence question

Postby curiousminds on June 8th, 2017, 5:09 pm

Does an infinitely long-lived universe (allowing Poincare recurrence) = naturalistic immortality? Came across this question and saw where physicist Jim Al-Khalili gave an interesting answer (http://m.askers.co/landing/message/17916?1496954878571).

I am curious about what others think and why.
