Meteor Showers - general thread

Postby TheVat on January 3rd, 2020, 1:57 pm

Quadrantids peaking tonight and tomorrow a.m. Visible in the N. Hemisphere, and fairly far north in the dome of the sky even there. The radiant is located at the northern tip of Bootes. The peak, for this particular shower, is quite sharp and will be around 4 am EST. A few hours before or after and activity drops to a quarter of peak.

A thread for posting on upcoming showers, tips for dealing with light pollution, staying warm, etc.
