DNA Urn instead of cremated remains Urn

Here is an interesting thought.
It appears that instead of having cremated remains of your relatives, you can now opt for their DNA to be stored in a vial indefinitely (post-mortem).

Ashes don't really contain much of the original person but DNA...

If you ever choose to not have children, maybe someday it will be legal to clone and you could just clone your parents.

Any thoughts on this new type of memorializing?

I like it and it could be of use if there was ever a need to genetically screen one's ancestors. What do you give them in order to preserve the DNA?

$550

I think it's a special kit for swabbing a dead persons mouth.

disclosure: I have no association with this company. I just find it interesting.

It's also interesting that purified DNA is an amber color?
