Sq-Cubicle-Pi is for a wide variety of reasons. Math is fun to me! I'm learning to see life & forms as sequential, in certain patterns, or even the "hidden" out in the open, esp. w/ letters (i.e., name numerology).

In addition, Spheres are similar to the size of a square, but take up 80% of the area surrounding it! Both are geometrical, yet 1 is not a polyhedron! :P *I grew up enjoying trying to figure out how & why objects in clear marbles were so tiny & shown upside down!!*

Pi [radius!] forms an entire circle. There's 1D, points; 2D, flat surfaces w/o heights or depth; 3D, the whole thing! The more in depth things are, the more interested I am of it! A sphere is a good, simple example of 3D & even Pi!

I also believe most, if not all things, are done in sq's & cubicles, but also most, if not all, things are in Fibonacci Sequence! Everything has a spiral effect to it! *This includes certain flowers, the universe, possibly even the iris to an eyeball!!! But the typical example would be a seashell.*

Good to see you psionic.

It's interesting to hear the inspirations, stories behind members' nicks. :)

Going back through this thread, I had hope of learning the inspiration for yours, but couldn't find anything. "Meet the bottom turtle?" (like in that famous Hindu stack of turtles, holding up the world?)

So I've heard. A term usually associated with mafioso et al. Are you going to make us offers we can't refuse? :-)

When I signed up for these forums, I was chewing bubblegum… due to the fact, that I am not that creative at coming up with a funny or catchy nickname, I simply choose something I ate or I am doing at the moment (e.g. ApplePie in a writers forum) :P

Using this method of naming, my moniker would be "ScratchingMyself" - it was January in South Dakota, nuff said.

My username has three parts; all are descriptive of me and all are true.

My name comes from an abridged series of Attack on Titan. its also because a Jägerbomb is a kind of drink (A shot of Jägermeister with redbull).

Ettu comes from Caesar's dying words in William Shakespeare's play Julius Caesar; "Et tu, Brute?" And if you haven't figured it out by now, 0315 refers to the infamous date of the Roman Emperor's assassination; March 15th, the Ides of March.

I was going to go with 031544, but that just seemed like too many numbers for a username. I even considered Ettu031544BC. Again, it just seemed like too much.

I used to be in a rock band called Heavy Water. It was during undergrad school, and our founder and lead guitarist was a physics major.
Most of you of course know that heavy water is the Deuterium laden water used to cool those fuel rods in nuclear reactors.

I love languages and spirituality, so my name depicts something I believe in. Lux aeterna is Latin for eternal light.
