This is a forum for discussing philosophical theories of government and social structure. It is not a venue for partisan rants or plugging favored candidates.

Yikes! I liked the panel editorial in The Guardian this a.m. in which one writer compared Boris to someone who would enjoy taking the country off a cliff just to feel the wind in his hair. Sounded pretty familiar to this Yank.

Double-Talking Heads
Deathrow Full (Jethro Tull)
The Mothers of Invention
The Zombies (it's fun when you don't have to alter the original band name at all)
Ban Inhalin' (EPA policies)
The Velvet Underhanded
Fleetwood Big Mac (the photo, I hope, explains this choice)
Grateful If They'd Be Dead
The Grifters
The Ever-Lie Brothers
Radio(Moscow)Head
Dire Straits for Democracy

Forcing myself to stop....

A mob of the MAGA persuasion
Staged a statehouse invasion.
Though heavily armed,
They left unharmed.
And that's how you know they're Caucasian!

It was taken from a friend's FB post. They in turn had borrowed the image from another open FB feed credited to Al Shur and dated April 28th 2020 2.12.pm

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10157413525051553&set=a.96895061552&type=3&theater

I wasn't able to back-trace it any further.

Quite, Vat. People demonstrate against particular wars. Very few, if any, demonstrate against war, period.

They have. I have. You get treated exactly the same. Only, back then, we got water-hosed. The weapons change, no the message.
